With textile fiber processing volume accounting for over 50% of the global total, however, annual carbon emissions from the textile industry account for approximately 2% of China’s total carbon emissions, mainly from energy use. Green development has become the ecological foundation and value keynote for China’s textile industry to build a modern industrial system. From end-of-pipe treatment to full-chain optimization, from linear consumption to circular utilization, the industry is reshaping its future through total-factor innovation, full-chain upgrading, and data-driven governance, seizing new tracks for industrial upgrading in global climate governance.
